Tiryaki Holding to Build Wheat and Chickpea Processing Plant in Nur-Sultan

In Turkey, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, met with the chief executive officer of Tiryaki Holding, Suleyman Tiryakioglu. They discussed
long-term partnership in the agro-industrial sector, as reported by the Akorda Press Office.
«The head of state welcomed the company’s decision to build a plant for deep processing of wheat and chickpeas in Nur-Sultan. Suleyman Tiryakioglu mentioned that this project will contribute to the development of our country’s processing industry, the implementation of modern technologies, and the enhancement of local specialists’ skills,» the statement said.
The counterparts also discussed the development of efficient logistics for transporting Kazakh agricultural products, digitization of warehouse infrastructure, and modernization of elevators.
It is worth noting that Tiryaki Holding is among the global leaders in the production and export of grains, oilseeds, and animal feed.
Earlier, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the chairman of the board of directors of S Sistem Lojistik, Hussein Barlin.
He also visited the mausoleum of the founder of modern Turkey, the first president of the country, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
